Artist Bio:
Anne is
nationally acclaimed for her diffused dream-like
depictions of landscape, many of which are done plein air,
which means painted on location. Some pieces are completed
in the studio from studies created plein air. The Midwest,
however, is not known for it's hospitable winter weather
and so most artists work in their studios full time during
the coldest months.
“ During the winter I like to bring nature inside. I treat
myself to fresh flowers and imagine warmer weather as I
paint them in my still life. These paintings have become
very popular and disappear quickly at my summer shows,
often before cold weather gives me time to paint more!"
